Can I get the reason for that? Keeping GPA above 3.7 is really not a difficulty for sophomore.
3.7 is like a threshold for many good companies(also depends on your school) so if you can keep above that interviewing rn won't hurt you by any means.
Also if you end up want to apply for grad school, keeping the GPA above 3.7 is also good enough.
