Multiple funded research assistant positions are available in the DIVE Lab within the
Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Texas A&M University. Texas A&M
University is renowned for its world-class engineering programs. The Department of
Computer Science and Engineering offers highly-ranked computer science and computer
engineering programs. More information about engineering degree programs is available
at https://engineering.tamu.edu/about/facts-and-figures.html. The DIVE Lab conducts
foundational research in machine learning and deep learning and applies them to solve
challenging real-world problems in biology, chemistry, neuroscience and medicine.
Members of the DIVE Lab not only publish papers in top-tier venues, including
NeurIPS/NIPS, ICML, ICLR, KDD, and TPAMI etc., but also achieve top performance
in open challenges. Candidates are expected to pursue a PhD degree and have strong
programming and/or mathematical skills. Candidates with undergraduate background in
physics, mathematics, or statistics are encouraged to apply. Interested individuals should
contact Dr. Shuiwang Ji (http://people.tamu.edu/~sji/) with the following documentation:
[1] a current CV, which should include your (1) undergraduate GPA and ranking, (2)
TOEFL and GRE scores and percentile,
[2] undergraduate and graduate transcripts if applicable.

You can apply for either the computer
science (https://engineering.tamu.edu/cse/index.html) or the computer
engineering (https://engineering.tamu.edu/ce/index.html) programs. Students who are
already in US on student visa are especially encouraged to apply.

讲课好的老师可能科研做不好 但我没遇到课讲的稀烂的老师会对你好

rate my professor上只有几个评论，有很强的幸存者偏差。以我自己上老板课的经验来说讲得很清楚，很有收获。另外，老板对学生还是有口皆碑的。
