提交485的时候，小孩子的birth certificate需要公证吗？还是直接可以用国内的medical birth certificate加翻译版？

小孩子的medical birth certificate可以用来提交485吗？还是说必须也要做公证？另外，marriage certificate也做公证吗？

是的， 可以看移民局上对中国出生证的说明， A notarial birth certificate normally contains a watermark, seal, and red stamp. It indicates the applicant’s name, gender, date of birth, ID number, place of birth, and both parents’ names.  NOTE: Notarial birth certificates issued prior to 2012 may not list the ID number. All notarial documents must have an English translation, and be attached with a certificate stating that the English translation is in conformity with the Chinese original.
