We’re looking for software engineers to join the TikTok Augmented Reality (AR) Effect team! You will be focus on building a unified algorithm platform inside AR Effect SDKs that brings cutting-edge AR/CV/CG technologies to various products. Our AR Effect Platform enables the breakthrough AR interactive experience, consumed by hundreds of millions of Tiktok users around the world.

What you will do:
• Design and implement software architectures that support efficient algorithm development, verification and deployment on mobile platforms.
• Work with researchers to productionize cutting-edge technologies.
• Benchmark and optimize algorithm run-time performance on mobile platforms.
• Build automation frameworks to ensure high engineering quality and efficiency.
• Build tools that deliver smooth algorithm exploration experience to developers and designers.
职位要求
• BS in computer science or related field
• Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, OOP design) and problem-solving skills
• 3+ years C++ experience and familiarity with modern C++ features
• Basic knowledge in computer vision / computer graphics / deep learning
• Proficiency with debugging & profiling tools

Software Engineer, Audio and Video Engine
• Support products such as TikTok and ViaMaker and responsible for the development of short video shooting / recording / editing SDK engine on mobile platform;
• Improve the performance and user experience of products and optimize memory and rendering to improve the clarity and fluency of short video;
• Achieve scaling, cropping, effects, filters and other pre & post processing functions based on OpenGLES and other graphics libraries;
• Achieve audio and video codec, splicing, cropping, acceleration and transfer functions based on multimedia libraries such as FFmpeg/AVFoundation;
• Achieve basic function of camera shooting and recordind based on the mobile platform camera;
• Realize hardware codec function on mobile platform.

Tech Lead Manager, Ads Infrastructure
What You'll Do

1. Build delivery services for TikTok Ads, including Ads targeting, indexing, recall, click and convert prediction, bidding, auction, mixed ranking of Ads and organic results, etc.
2. Build deep learning solutions for TikTok Ads ranking, including building training examples, realtime online training, deep models inference, model based retrieval, etc.
3. Build service frameworks with highest performance and availability.
4. Build globalized Ads system across multiple intercontinental data centers.
职位要求
1. Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Computer Science, or related fields.
2. 5+ years of experience building scalable system in at least one area of the following areas: ads delivery, personalized recommendations, search engine, machine learning, distributed storage system.
3. Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive. Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear, concise and timely manner.

Data Scientist (System) - 2021 Start
Responsibilities
• Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production
• Design and implement ML/DL algorithms to solve system operational challenges in an end-to-end fashion
• Design and establish metrics monitoring for at the data center scale, measure the performance and reliability of hosts and operating systems
• Continuously make recommendations/prediction based on analytics insights to optimize system efficiency and improve underlying system infrastructure's availability.
• Collaborate with members of your team (e.g., data engineers, domain experts) on the project’s goals.
