请问TX Lockbox开始处理11月的OPT了吗?

只看到讨论AZ和Chicago的帖  请问Dallas Lockbox进度到哪了? 有11月寄到TX的被cash、收到短讯或email通知reciept了吗?

10.30寄到的 前天晚上通过emma查到了receipt number 感觉下周应该会处理十一月的了吧

没有，正在发10/30的。但是每天量很少，不知道什么时间进入11月

同样在等，申请的OPT，寄出去两个多月了一点消息都没有。前天联系的Ombudsman，一套官方说辞，让我继续等着。今天联系的Emma Live chat(电话打不通)，USCIS说还没有我的receipt number。今天也发邮件给了lockbox，等等看他们回复怎么说。我在想，如果还是没有receipt number的话，并且快要到了毕业之后60天的grace period，之后应该怎么做。我已经把我现在的情况给学校发了邮件，看看学校给我什么建议，要不要再寄一份材料到AZ或者Chicago。等到收到Lockbox和学校的回复之后再来更新。现在唯一能做的就是祈祷快点check cash拿到receipt，还有就是多发发推，让政府官员能看到我们的声音，希望他们会对因为TX service center导致的delay给我们一些补偿措施，比如说延长gp。

lockbox不会回复的，我等485收据超过一个月后每周写信问一次，到现在三个月了一次没回过……

同时11月寄TX的，没有任何消息，发了很多邮件给lockbox没有回复过，希望大家有好消息分享以下

下面是学校的回复：

Please be assured that we are following this situation closely, and we are in communication with the UNIVERSITY Office of Federal Relations in Washington, DC, who regularly advocate on the behalf of all international students at UNIVERSITY. Through these colleagues, we have learned that ACE and NAFSA– two professional organizations who represent the interests of international students as well as higher education institutions – are submitting a joint letter to USCIS about this specific lockbox issue. These organizations carry substantial clout, and we are hopeful that USCIS will take their input under serious consideration.

lockbox 30天后会有模板回复，学校也只能给点建议缺少实际行动，现在唯一能做的除了等和发声，还有考虑诉讼以及联系议员

我们学校ISSS的人说她工作了七年都没遇上这样的情况....学校的建议如下：
We are sorry to hear about the challenges and understand the uncertainty this is causing. This is a known trend with I-765 application. We have been informed that it is taking USCIS as long as 8-9 weeks to receipt applications after arriving at the USCIS Lockbox.

I checked your SEVIS record and the OPT packet has not been receipted by USCIS yet. This does not mean that your application is not yet under review with USCIS, it just means we are unable to see a change within your record. While you await your receipt notice, there are a few things you can do:

  1) If you have not received your receipt notice within 60 days of filing your OPT request, you are asked to first contact the USCIS Service Center. We encourage you to have your tracking information available before contacting USCIS. Some students have experienced success with this and others were told they will need to wait on the receipt notice. Please note USCIS will not allow OIE to inquire on behalf of an applicant’s petition.
  2) If USCIS does not respond to your inquiry within 30 days, you can contact the office of the CIS Ombudsman to see if they can help you receive written confirmation from USCIS regarding your OPT request. The CIS Ombudsman is currently assisting individuals who have not received a Notice of Action (Form I-797C) 90 days after their application/petition was received at USCIS. For more information on how to file a case with the office of the CIS Ombudsman, please review their website, https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance.
  3) Speak with a qualified immigration attorney regarding your options.

想问要是5月份才能拿卡 剩下的opt时间太短 可以申诉吗😂
