这两封陶瓷回复让我很纠结。。。

前天给的PROF一封陶瓷信，大意是对他的项目感兴趣，还附了自己的CV。然后PROF第二天回复的热情洋溢，把我高兴的不得了

Thank you for your interest in our university. It looks like your undergraduate background is well suited to study medical imaging at Wright State University. I would suggest you send your applications materials to the graduate school and get admitted to our program.

我一看就去“得寸进尺”一步，问能否在PS把PROF也为ADVISOR，今天prof回了，让我心灰意冷：

There is no need to mention my name at this point, as the admission’s process is not tied to a specific faculty member.

是不是要不要你由研院决定，还是prof只是想让我和一堆人申请，然后再从一堆人中选出他想要的人呢？

教授的意思只是鼓励你申请，其实也不错了
因为：
1 你收到了回信，太多陶瓷信都沉了。。。
2 他对你进行了pre-evaluate，很多学校的教授明确说他们不judge anything

想想也是。其实这个学校不怎么好。只是回我的PROF很牛的。渴望在他手下做事。

现在还没开始审呢。。。哪个教授不想看看池子里都是什么人啊，这环肯定跑不了。
不过LZ真不错啦，万一教授到时候就找不到合适的，他肯定就招你啦
