Dear FE Students,

Unfortunately, I have some bad news I have to share with you.  The four partner colleges (Ross, CoE, LS&A and Rackham) have decided to discontinue the FE program.  Consequently, we will not be admitting any students for the 2014-2015 academic year. The possibility of any restructured FE program in the future is also uncertain at this time.

As your director, I would like to assure you, however, the decision to discontinue the FE program will not affect your education here at Michigan.  In particular, you will be able to complete your degrees, and that academic and career advising services and all academic courses will still be available to you as you complete their degrees.  I will still be the director of the program until December 2014 when most of you will graduate.

I know this will probably come as an unpleasant surprise to many of you.  I would like to also assure you that the discontinuation decision has nothing to do with you.  I am proud of your accomplishments past and present.  Rather, it reflects disagreements among the four colleges regarding what the best future path of the program should be.  

I have scheduled a meeting next week so that I can meet with all of you, face to face, and answer your questions and concerns.  Please join me on Thursday, December 5, at 5:30pm, in 165 Chrysler Center, and we can discuss your questions or concerns further.

I wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving break and continued success with your studies.

Master of Science in Financial Engineering (administered by the Rackham Graduate School)
The Financial Engineering Program Curriculum is being reviewed and revised for the coming academic year (AY 2014–15), and applications for the program will be opened after the revision has been completed.
不知道什么情况，现在还没有忙到他家？如果真停办了我还要考虑其他家。跪求解答！！！！

说的很对 这个项目的有点是超级flexible 但大家都只选商学院的课 导致就业率以至排名一路狂降 现在已经到20了
