Professor Erich Lehmann said that The History of Statistics "was the first integrated account of the history of statistics." (Source: Lehmann, Erich. Reminiscences of a Statistician: The Company I Kept.  © 2008 Springer Science + Business Media, LLC. 200.)

Statistics on the Table focused on statistical topics. It's interesting and well-written.
Sitgler proposed “Stigler’s Law of Eponymy”, that is “No scientific discovery is named after its original discoverer” (Statistics 277).
e.g. Siméon-Denis Poisson published a paper on the Cauchy distribution in 1824 before Augustin Louis Cauchy’s discovery in 1853 (Statistics 332-333).

a rich collection of biographies of important statisticians from the 16th century to present

Gigerenzer, Gerd, et al. The Empire of Chance: How Probability Changed Science and Everyday Life. New York: Cambridge UP, 1989.

It covers a wide range of topics, including details of some contraversies.

Salsburg, David. The Lady Tasting Tea: How Statistics Revolutionized Science in the Twentieth Century. New York: W. H. Freeman, 2001.

端木没有读完这本书，感觉组织欠佳，但还是一本不错的休闲读物。

没有。。。我一般都是从图书馆借，比较少从网上找书
