Dr. Ying Wang's group is looking for Ph.D. students and Post doc starting Spring 2023 at the School of Systems and Enterprises at Stevens Institute of Technology. The research areas include but are not limited to: Cybersecurity in next G communications, Software Defined Radio and Networks,
Machine Learning-based data-driven 5G and nextG cross layer research. Interdisciplinary research leveraging secure, high-performance, and resilient wireless technologies at various verticals, including healthcare, CV2X, UAV, Cyber-physical systems and IoT Intelligence Telehealth , health informatics and medical decision support system.
Desirable Ph.D. or Master applicants with a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Software Engineering, or other related fields are strongly encouraged to apply. A Master's degree in related fields is preferred. Working with others and hands-on practice is essential as current projects collaborate with other universities, industry partners, and research organizations. Dr. Ying Wang joined the School of Systems and Enterprises (SSE) at Stevens Institute of Technology as an associate professor in Fall 2021. Dr. Ying Wang has broad experience in industry and academia and interdisciplinary knowledge in wireless communications, health informatics, software engineering, and data mining. She was Wireless Design Engineer at Apple and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) at Verizon.
