Position Description
Dr. Wang's lab is looking for highly motivated PhD students. The student will be fully funded and will be working primarily under the direct supervision of the advisor (Dr. Haifeng Wang) to conduct research/project works in the area of machine learning optimization theory and applications. The position will be responsible for writing/reading research papers, working on research projects, attending conferences, preparing research presentations, etc.
Requirements

• Interested in operations research/data mining/machine learning research topics
• Got a Bachelor/Master degree in industrial engineering or a related field
• Operational research/computer science/statistics backgrounds are preferred
• A strong sense of responsibility and able to learn new things in a fast-paced environment
• Has to be highly motivated
• Admitted to 2023 Fall Semester or later
• Proficiency in English (GRE, TOFEL>80)
• Undergraduate students can be considered
