加拿大曼尼托巴大学生物系统工程系（https://umanitoba.ca/engineering/biosystems）Dr. Jiating Li 实验室现招收一名全奖硕士，主要研究课题是探索机理模型与机器学习的融合及其在农业中的应用（integrate process-based models and machine learning for agricultural crop monitoring and prediction）。

• 入学时间：2026年夏季（五月入学）

本团队专攻数字与智能农业，重点关注遥感（proximal and remote sensing）、作物传感器（crop sensors）、机器人和自动化系统（robotics and automation systems）、物联网（Internet-of-Things）、人工智能（Artificial Intelligence）和机理模型（process-based models）。


招生要求
基本要求

• 获得计算机科学、统计学、农业和生物工程、生物系统工程、或其他相关领域的学士学位（Qualified applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Biological Systems or Biosystems Engineering, or other related fields）
• 满足曼尼托巴大学研究生院的最低入学要求和英语水平要求（Meet the minimum admission and English language proficiency requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies (https://umanitoba.ca/graduate-st...ssions/requirements）)
• 具有自主、上进、乐于合作等优良品质 (The ideal candidate should be highly self-motivated and willing to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment)

有以下经验者优先：

• 具备 Python、R、Matlab、C++ 等编程技能
• 机器和深度学习（Machine and deep learning）
• 机理模型建模（辐射传输模型、作物生长模型）（Process-based modeling, e.g., radiative transfer model, crop growth model)
• 遥感（无人机、卫星、光学传感、2D/3D 图像处理）（Remote sensing, e.g., UAV, satellite, optical sensing, 2D/3D image processing)
• 有科研经验和学术成果者优先（Records of previous scientific publications）

导师简介
导师本人是加拿大曼尼托巴大学生物系统工程系助理教授。本人的研究专长涵盖农业工程、数据科学和植物科学。主攻无人机、地面和近端植物表型分析、多模态数据（RGB、多光谱、高光谱、热传感和 LiDAR）、人工智能、辐射传输模型等技术在农业领域中的应用。
I am an assistant professor at the department of Biosystems Engineering, University of Manitoba, Canada. My research expertise spans multiple disciplines, including agricultural engineering, data science, and plant science. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained rich research experience in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), ground and proximal plant phenotyping tools, multi-modal data (RGB, multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal, and LiDAR) processing, data-driven machine learning and deep learning models, and physics-based models (radiative transfer models).
