Postdoctoral positions available:
Positions are immediately available in my group in the Departments of Biological Sciences and Computer Science at Purdue University.

Our research focuses on:
Biomolecular structure modeling for cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET)
Structure prediction of proteins and nucleic acids
Protein function annotation
Other related projects in bioinformatics

Qualifications:
Strong programming skills in Python and C++ (required)
Experience in machine learning, particularly deep learning (highly desirable)
Experience in modifying AlphaFold or developing similar codes, and/or a strong background in mathematics, biophysics, or chemistry (strong plus)

About the group:
Our group is highly interdisciplinary. We value strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a diverse team, as well as the ability to develop independent research ideas. Current group members include students and postdocs from backgrounds in biology, computer science, statistics, and related fields.
