Maryland发邮件让我转Professional Master of Engineering CEE，有遇过一样情况的吗？

其实就是一封拒信，可是又让我consider转申Professional Master of Engineering Civil & Environmental Engineering (PMCE), within the Transportation specialization。。。变成Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree。。。

小弟就像弱弱问一句。。。这个professional mster of engineering in CEE和正常的有什么区别啊？课程一样吗？为什么有的学校没有？开这个是干嘛？据说是和一些企业有联系？

有人碰到过和我一样的情况吗？

Dear Po主,

This is to inform you that you have not been recommended for admission to our Master of Science Civil & Environmental Engineering program. We receive a large number of applications each year from qualified applicants, but we can only admit a certain number.

We suggest that you consider applying to the Professional Master of Engineering Civil & Environmental Engineering (PMCE), within the Transportation specialization, to pursue the Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree. For more information about the program, please visit: http://advancedengineering.umd.edu/ or contact Mrs. Vinette Brown-Darlington, oaee@umd.edu.

As a Master of Engineering student in the A. James Clark School of Engineering, you will have access to all graduate engineering courses as long as you meet the courses' prerequisites. Please note that because the Master of Engineering program does not have a research/thesis requirement, it does not offer any form of financial support. Please review the Master of Engineering information found at http://advancedengineering.umd.edu/.  

If you would like to change your application from our program to Master of Engineering you must send an email to Mrs. Brown-Darlington (oaee@umd.edu) to request the transfer. Please send the request to change programs within 20 days of this correspondence or your application will be rejected. If you make the request after 20 days you will have to submit another application and pay the application fee again.

hi 我伸了好几个大学的meng 马达的meng2月给我发的 课是跟他们一样上的 没有thesis区别 然后回国的话会发meng的文凭  没什么影响吧。。 马达的优点就是学费好便宜哈哈

真心感觉没有实质性的区别，反正平时也都是一起上课，但是学费便宜好多，而且MENG 也不用写paper，真心舒服
