帮妹子报AD，求比较（附Umich情况）

妹纸之前还收到UC Davis和UC Berkeley， 都是AD无奖。现在比较纠结UCB和Umich。
妹纸想master毕业在美帝找工作。问了UCB 和Umich的小秘毕业生去向的问题，

Congratulations on your acceptance! I hope to see you in Berkeley in the Fall, along with about 30 to 40 other new MA students.

The majority of our students are international, and the overwhelming majority have found jobs easily. Examples of companies that have hired our international graduates in the past two years:

IBM, Google, JP Morgan Chase, Linkedin, AIG, Bank of the West, Wells Fargo, Indosys, Cheiron, McKinsey, Affinova, Nielsen, Auction.com, Deloitte, Markel

Salary tends to start at around $80,000 annually, plus bonuses. For a couple of students it has been just over $50,000, and at the other end some students have started at $120,000.

It's so nice to hear from you! I have attached a table below that gives the estimated cost for tuition, etc.

[size=12.7272720336914px]Some students go on to PhD programs at the University of Michigan, the University of Iowa, Penn State, University of Texas, Ohio State and the University of Oxford.

[size=12.7272720336914px]Other students go on to work at investment banks in China or the United States. Bank of America, Google, Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, Quicken Loans, Eli Lilly and Deloitte & Touche are a few of the companies that hire our students. Although, I do not have any salary information.

[size=12.7272720336914px]We plan a career fair every year for master's students. It is very well attended and many of our students get internships and jobs from this career fair or other career fairs around campus.

妹子还在等UW-Seattle的第二波不知道会不会来，据说会5月多再来一波，但是Berkeley415就截止了。

Berkeley这个项目只有一年，Umich太农村了不知道怎样，而且Umich真是非常贵啊。
求各位大神建议。。。。

额，小秘的意思不是应该是大多数我们的学生英语都不是母语，并且大多数学生都没有实习经验。所以这样的同学是比较普遍的并不特殊，所以我们没有专门为这样的同学归类的信息。

不过确实美国的很多学校都是不统计国际学生的就业情况的，他们会说好多国际生回国啦我们统计不了balabalabala。。。

是的。觉得uc系列选人标准是不是比较一致。就是那封群发后追问的。她说国际生无实习是普遍情况，所以没记录。那么就无法知道那些成功毕业生是哪些，以及背景。

必须去UCB啊 UMICH绝对没得比 地理位置首先是一大劣势 其次名气UMICH根本比不过UCB 抓住机会啊

UCB各方面都比较强吧

感觉UCB比较好 项目好名气大 人少

去UCB吧，其实Class size, 名气在美国都差不多，但地理位置确实...

看小米的的回信是Berkeley以前找工作挺好的，但是貌似今年Berkeley扩招了，所以不知道会不会有影响。

理由如下  1年不足建立networking。 2ms潜在有phd可能性。3安全 4一年找工作毕业很累 5 1年学的太少主要的就这些。次要的还有男女比例这些有的没的。以下是给我的回信。

For the majority of our students, English is not the native language; also, the majority don't have internship experience. So they are typical rather than unusual, and there is no special job information for them.

Needless to say, if students want a job in the US – and, before that, if they want to understand and communicate with our faculty – they do need to speak English fluently and comprehend spoken English with ease. Most of our students make a real effort to improve their English during the Fall if it appears that they need to.
