网申界面写的是：
Recommended for admission to M.S. program in Computer Engineering

然后邮件这么说：
The graduate admissions committee for the Columbia University Computer Engineering program has met and it is my pleasure to inform you that they have recommended you for acceptance in our MS program. We had an exceptionally high level of applications this year, and we would like to congratulate you for being among the select group whom we have recommended for admission. We very much hope that you will be able to join us next semester.The Office of Graduate Student Affairs (GSA) is in the process of verifying your required application documents for official admission. This process can take approximately 1-2 weeks. When completed, an official admission letter will be sent to you by email. We do not send paper-copies of the admission letter unless it is necessary by request.  Should any documents still be required by GSA to process your official admission, you will be contacted by email to resolve any discrepancies.Please note that there is a short time delay between receipt of this email and the processing of your admission acceptance by GSA. 不知道唉。不过的网申界面上面写的是computer science department，不清楚是什么意思~
