This rule - OPT extension always brings all benefits to the U.S. and the economy and no harm to the economy at all! It will keep all the brilliant minds in the world to stay in the U.S. and make their significant contribution to the country. That’s why the U.S. can keep the leadership in Education, Industry, Economic, Technology and Science in the world.

If OPT extension is aborted, those international students may instead go back to their home country, and build next Google, Apple, Facebook, Miscrosoft and etc. to compete with U.S. And the job opportunities will go to these countries, and the U.S. and workers here would suffer, and might not keep the leadership in the world any more!

Can you imagine, if the brilliant minds all go to other countries, will the U.S. still be the great U.S. any more? NO! The U.S. will lose the science and technology leadership to other countries, and will lose innovation, industries, and thus job opportunities to other countries. The best products will be coming out from the U.S. any more, people will not buy products and services from here, and the workers here will lose their jobs. That U.S. will no longer be the great U.S. any more!

Let the rule save the U.S. and save the great country, and save the best science, tech, industry and the best job opportunities here!

The OPT extension does all kinds of good to the U.S. and the people. The U.S. just cannot afford to lose it!

第二篇：I support the proposal because it can be beneficial to U.S. Some people hold the opinion that the proposal should be stop because it make him out of work. It is really ridiculous. The only thing them do is to blame others take over their jobs and never think about their faults. They never reflect what is the real cause of their out of work. If they work hard at school, if they push themselves very hard at work, if they are competitive, who can replace them? Those foreign people can make them know that no one can guarantee their jobs unless they make themselves competitive. The workers who are replaced are loser, we do not need to guarantee their job because they should be responsible for their faults, for their not working hard. The wanting to be competitive will push those people to learn more knowledge and to pay more attention to their jobs, which can be do benefit to our country.

刚刚看到有同学留言关于多次提交comment的事情。后来的同学也注意下吧！【请大家提交评论之前清理一下这个网站的cookie，或者直接用Chrome 的incognito mode来提交评论，防止评论被后端过滤掉。我发现他是会set cookie并且生成一个csrf token的，如果不清理cookie每次的token都是一样的，可能会因为这个被后端过滤掉。】

I strongly support this new OPT policy because it is really a win-win strategy for both US and foreign STEM students.

I saw the most concern from those people who left negative comments is that they are afraid of losing jobs because of the those students. That is NOT TRUE at all.
First, not all companies will hire international students;
Second, the companies, who are willing to hire international students, only take the qualifications into consideration. To be honest, sometimes even those companies prefer people with citizenships over those who are not if they have the similar background. So STEM students are not in advantageous situations.

On the other hand, we should realize that the competition can push our citizens to improve themselves and can give our companies more choices so as to maintain their power. That is one reason why US becomes one of the most powerful country in the world.

I strongly SUPPORT this policy!

The policy will encourage more international students to come to U.S. and thus benefit the growth of U.S. economy.

The policy will help American IT industry grow faster. In fact, there are many positions in the demanding fields need to be filled by international students. For example, I graduated from a data analytics program, and there were 76% international students in my class. If very few native students are interested in these fields, then how can IT companies find the right talents without recruiting international students?
