坚守OPT阵营需要老印的支持！

现在网上的评论基本上分为两种：抱怨找不到工作的US citizen 和 摆事实讲 ...

我已给认识的所有老印同学群发了邮件，要不你也试试。

我这样写的，
I support this proposal. From the perspective of educational institutes, the OPT extension policy would attract more international STEM students to study in the U.S. Most of the students are pursuing master's degree from whose tuition fees the universities can continue their research. If OPT extension is cancelled, the universities and educational institutes would not hardly attract those students. Then, they would suffer a lot from lack of money. Plus, U.S. high-tech companies benefit a lot from the contributions from international STEM students. If the students cannot stay longer here, a lot of companies would face talents loss, and finally the financial decline. In sum, extend OPT would benefit educational institutes, companies, and all the people related to this.

I strongly support the OPT extension program.
According to my experience in Red Hat inc, development of software takes a rather long time to complete. The extension will definitely help our tech company ensure the integrity and continuity of projects. International students are the key element to the development of high-tech industry.  Only if we hire students from all over the world, the innovative ideas can gather here in United States. This will surely benefit the economy and create more jobs for American citizens in long term.

I strongly support this proposal! The voice saying that expanding OPT will occupy US citizen's job opportunity is ridiculous. I am in charge of recruiting for a high-tech start up. It is well known that it's getting harder to hire matching candidates these years. Stopping expanding the OPT for international students especially for those STEM students will bring nothing to us but make it even worse for the company like us.
