I support this proposal undoubtedly.
USA is a country of great diversity. Diversity is beneficial and necessary to the country. Different people make huge contributions to the society, especially those
people having high-level education background. This proposal could encourage brilliant college students from all over the world to have enough time to make improvements in certain industry field, even breakthroughs with the knowledge they learned. Without these young and smart students, our industry could not develop as fast as it does now.

Also, the number of start-ups is increasing nowadays. Quite a part of them are formed by college students. New start-ups could provide a lot of job opportunities for USA, which is helpful to maintain the social harmony and increase people's average income.

大概说了三点：
1.留学生找的工作大多数本地失业人群是做不了的，所以不冲突。
2.留学生如果做得好的话可以开start-up，这样增加了就业机会，本地人也受益。如果政府可以给start-up funding的话我相信越来越多的美国人会找到工作的。。
3.留学生在美国工作，为美国创造了更多超越美国公司支付给他/她的财富，每多雇一个就是多给他们创造财富。这些财富可以被用来资助穷人和找不到工作的人。如果留学生延期减少了，美国税收和福利制度可能受到减少的影响，然后穷人就不得不出来工作了还拿不到以前那么多的钱。（我是想说多雇一点外国人给他们打工，美国人就不用工作了天天吃吃喝喝就可以。。可能忽悠的不到位噗）

论点1: 很多phd，master特别是high tech systems里都是外国人，这些人不是抢了美国人的饭碗，而是创造了整个行业和更多就业机会，发展了经济从而让美国人收益。
论点2:1年不够留学生得到足够的历练，让这些人在真正回报工业界之前赶走了，经济会衰落导致最终美国本地人一起遭殃。我们需要更多科学家和工程师而不是更少，但美国本地人满足不了这个需求。
论点3: opt extension招来了世界各国聪明的学生，又教那么多学费，又在学术界作出贡献，对美国教育系统是不可或缺的资源。

小小吐槽一下，那么多非法移民留着不管，让这么点能真正促进美国发展的人才滚蛋。理智地分析一下，政府不会干这种事吧。虽然知道我的一票并不能起什么实质的作用，还是有权利也有义务出一份力量。

I strongly agree with the DHS new regulation to improve and expand the training opportunities for F-1 non-immigrant students with STEM Degrees.

Science is the engine of prosperity. 50% percent of the Ph.D candidates are foreign born and this number is even higher in the high technology systems. These future scientists and engineers are actually making significant contribution to create the whole high-tech industries, which results in the continuous growth in the U.S. economy and more job opportunities for Americans.

We need more scientists and engineers for the whole society improve and develop, not less of them. But there are not enough domestic graduate students, who can fill up the demanding need of the high technology industry. 1 year of training in the field is not sufficient for the foreign students to get experienced and give back to the industry, especially in the STEM areas, which need high intelligence and constant practice. Eliminating the STEM extension will definitely do non-negligible harm to the industries and collapse the economy, which as a final result, would cause more unemployment of the American people.

I strongly support to extend STEM OPT program. Firstly, from economic consideration, international students pay much higher tuition than domestic students, which helps the university in United States to make a balance. The declination of STEM OPT extension program would greatly discourage international students to apply American universities. This is a huge disaster to American higher education. Secondly, extension of OPT does not mean issue more visas and give more people to citizenship. It only means American companies could hire international students for longer time, which benefits technology of America significantly.
