Rochester给我回了邮件，看了很让我郁闷

Thank you for your inquiry about our MS program. We a full  time  
terminal master's program.  Students admitted to the MS program are  
entirely self-supporting. There are no assistantships with stipend or  
tuition scholarships available.  We do not admit in the spring.
.--If you are not a US citizen or permanent resident, in addition to the  
to tuition costs ($1,284 per credit hour; you need 30 credits for an  
MS degree) , you must show proof of sufficient funds to support  
yourself in the US in order to obtain a Student Visa (approximately  
$2,000 per month). You must also pay for your own health insurance  
(current cost is $1,776) , health fee, (current cost $504) activity  
fee, international student fee and repariation fee (a total of $70).  
Applicants are required to take the GRE exams and receive a score of  
Verbal/minimum 700 and Quantitative/minimum 700, Analytical Writing  
4.5 or higher and a minimum TOEFL score of 640/paper; 270/computer  
based; 100/internet; we are now accepting the IELTS scores and a GPA  
of 3.5 or better.  We require a solid back ground in computer science  
and strong programming skills.
上面是CS系给我回的邮件，要求说V要700！！！太夸张了，不知道rochester有那么难么？？？只是MS而已啊！
有知道真相的童鞋出来说说啊！！！

我还想申他们的phd 呢。。

这MS不是用来挣钱的？要求这么高。

不会吧。。。不过不建议楼主申他家的MS，他家的cs 的MS刚建立不久，还不稳定。。。

反正ee我同学去的肯定没这么高，总分不过1300也就去了，估计唬人呢吧…

太可怕了。。。rochester不是挺有钱么。。。
