Question about 401k match

Can someone tell anything about 401k match?

It says in benefits, "Company has a discretionary match of 3% of employee's eligible compensation as long as employee contributes at least 1% of his/her eligible compensation, and the match is 100% vested immediately".

What does it mean?

Let's say I contribute 1% of my eligible compensation, $100, then how much will company do the match?
