报一个pre-offer， UTK

凌晨看了几课法语后头昏昏的 到11点才起床 惯性的扫了一眼邮箱 在unimportant分栏里看到一封Admission邮件 （同天半夜收到了graduate office的录取通知，要寄送财产证明然后发I20，想着不急，就先撂那了）

I’m pleased to report that the Graduate Admissions Committee in the Department of ** has approved your application to enter our graduate program in Fall 2012, PENDING ADMISSION BY THE UNIVERSITY’S OFFICE OF GRADUATE AND INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS (OGIA). Once the OGIA has completed *their* review of the materials, we will be in touch again with you. If admitted by the OGIA, Dr. ** has agreed to be your temporary advisor in the Ph.D. graduate program. I would recommend that the two of you get together via email to discuss a possible plan for your graduate program beginning in August. In fact, it’s never too early to get started on a possible project!

Regarding funding: the Graduate Admissions Committee must first complete its reviews of our applicants and then we’ll meet to discuss which admitted applicants are to be made offers through a departmental Graduate Teaching Assistantship. This will occur in February sometime (probably mid-February because of the timing of this year’s ** meeting in New York City). Offer letters are usually sent out to the successful applicants selected for funding soon after.

应该是疑似 pre-offer之类的东东吧，他家和老师12月前往来了4、5封邮件，当时教授说申请激烈，后来想想无所谓去不去也就没有关心，本来教授说要面 磨磨唧唧的也没通知我 不知道忘了还是咋，算了反正 有个结果 告别35  算不上非常高兴   在这里先预祝大家好运连连！！！      

有个保底的也不错啊。。。

也申了UTK，套了一个PSU transfer 过去的教授。不过现在UTK静悄悄啊

我觉得UTK出结果对于PHD来说有点偏早，不过也快了，你去问graduate director 不要问小米

恭喜啊，现在就收到Offer了，我好想看这个学校还可以，不过我没有申请。。你具体学什么方向啊

LZ真心好牛叉啊~~我本科土地资源管理也用GIS  不过光在土地上的这点点应用我都没搞透彻。。。。
anyway，我换专业申了resource econ，也被UTK录了，说不定以后和LZ是校友
