On behalf of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, it gives me great pleasure to inform you that you have been recommended for admission to the Dean of the Graduate Division. Upon successful evaluation of your credentials by the Graduate Admissions Office, the Graduate Division will send you an official letter of admission to the ECE Master of Science program for Fall 2017. The Dean of Graduate Division is the final authority on graduate admissions decisions.

Please note that this is a stand-alone, terminal degree program. The possibility of transferring into the Ph.D. program is extremely rare. Funding is generally not available to M.S. students in our program.

这个实际上就是拿到了吧，最终决定权在系里，一般情况系里决定录取你除非是你资料造假不然graduate admission office是不会毙掉你的他们只是走一下流程。 顺便一说没意外的话我也回去ucsd同样是ee不过我是communication networking 那一方面的（从纽约搬到ca想想都刺激）
