12月23给我发来据信，“In cooperation with the graduate faculty in Electrical Engineering Ph D - 026460208, we have completed a review of your application for admission to graduate study at the University of Minnesota.

We have carefully considered all of your application materials, and unfortunately your admission has not been approved. Because resources of The Graduate School are not sufficient to accommodate the total demand for graduate education, not all of those who apply can be admitted. There were a great many excellent applications, and therefore the final decision was very difficult.

If you have any questions concerning this decision, please contact directly the major program to which you applied for admission.

I sincerely regret that we are unable to approve your admission, and hope that our decision will not discourage you from pursuing further academic education or professional development. Please accept our best wishes for success in your future endeavors.

“1/14/2010

I am writing to update you on our application process.

We are continuing to review applications for admission. We review PhD applicants first, followed by MS applicants to our program. We expect to be complete reviewing PhD application by the end of January. MS applications will follow.

No decisions will be made for financial assistance until all applications are reviewed for admission.

If you have contacted me by email about your application status, I apologize if I have not gotten back to you. I am busy working on processing applications.

Please be patient. If something is missing from your application, we will contact you. If you don't hear from us, we have all of the information we need to process your application.”

我不是被拒了么，咋还continuing to review....
估计是小米没有及时把拒掉的人的邮件地址从mail list里删除掉吧……

好像今年连我校这种xx的地方ece都有近千人申请？。。。
而且，80%是国人？。。。。
