海外军团的申请案例

想了解一些海外小本申美的案例，比如澳洲/英国的3年本科
小弟特别好“折腾“，本科CS，资历如下：
澳大利亚 University of Wollongong 念大一（2个学期）
后转至 University of New South Wales 念了1年半（3个学期）
今年8月份奔美 Georgia Tech 交换一年，交换完即毕业
准备申10Fall
发现很多美国院校要求澳洲必须有包含1年Additional Honor Year的4年学位，可我的学位是3年的普通小本（由于转学有落下学分，extends了一学期）。
另有Research Experience一点点，paper没准能搞上一篇
不知有没有懂的大侠给点指导？我够不够申Master or PhD的资格？

I don't know the difference between 3-year degree and 4-year degree. Does it depend on the credits or the exact time you spent to get your degree?
I think it really depends. You may have to ask each department.
Since you are/will be in U.S., just call them up.

是两种不同的学位。3年毕业的是普通本科，成绩优秀的话加读1年是荣誉本科学位。在澳洲，想读PhD必须要有荣誉学位。
我就是想跳过这1年直接申美国滴M.S. or PhD

这种关于学位的要求，如果美国学校明确指出，很难逃过的。

如果有的要求不明确，只是写明"US equivalent degree" or "identified by Admission Office"呢？
如果我能证明即使我是3年的学位，也不比那些4年的同学水平差，有可能夹缝里求生存么……？

Admitted students must hold a U.S. bachelor’s degree, or a comparable non-U.S. degree, from a regionally accredited institution.  The Graduate School will accept applications from international students with 3-year bachelor's degrees.

P.S. 问个小问题，香港那边的本科不也是三年么？那港大or港科大的学生申请起来是不是也很头疼的？

H.K. 应该跟 U.K. 一样，是3年连honour的，3年毕业时就授予不同的荣誉学位。
参考国际生大户USC的说明：
Hong Kong
•Bachelor degree
•Official academic transcript
•“B” or “Second Class Honours” minimum average

United Kingdom
Honours bachelor degree OR four-year bachelor degree (Scotland) and:

•Official academic transcript
•Official academic diploma
•“B” or “Second Class Honours” minimum average

但是澳洲就是……
Australia
Four-year bachelor degree OR Honours bachelor degree and:

•Official academic transcript
•“B” or “Credit” minimum average
