有人知道UMich网申上传成绩单的地方有个CertiFile选项是干什么的吗？

CertiFile: Certified Credentials Attachment Service (Optional)

Use of CertFile service is optional. In order to initiate the process for attaching certified credentials, indicate that you have entered your complete and accurate educational history as required by the application. Upon checking the box and completing an order, you will be unable to edit your educational history in the application.

一般的成绩认证大家会选WES，其实apply web自带EP认证，费用125刀吧好像，付款后系统会要求申请人（大陆）提交学信网成绩认证和学位认证，然后把电子版文件发给EP，EP核算分数后，完成evaluation，最后在applyweb里attach认证就行。和WES相比，EP的费用比较低，而且会快速一点，基本一个月就能完成。

但是对理工科学生来说，成绩认证本来就是optional的。关于要不要成绩认证的问题，可以在admission requirement里查看，或者问小秘；甚至更简单一些，在提交申请后，检查申请状态。Umich的申请要在拿到friend ID并激活后才能看见哦

I am sorry to respond this late. Actually, I didnt apply Gatech last year for some reason. Typically, there are two selections for you to upload the transcript: one is your own scan file with the official seal (for some schools you have to mail the paper copy to them), the other is WES, while I recommend you not to select this service if not required by the grad school and your undergrad univ uses a different calculation of GPA. If grad schools you apply care about this issue, they will calculate by themselves. For your question, I think you should check that box because in my memory, this is to prove that the transcript you upload is the real copy. Last but not least, it is always right to consult the secretary who are ready to help applicants. Forgive me using English because most American public computers dont have Chinese input. Hope this wont not too late and challenging for you to understand. May you have a good result!

所有学校都要求邮寄过去的纸质成绩单用信封封好还要盖骑缝章吧

Rackham的项目如果寄纸质成绩单过去就不用选这个CertFile了，学信网认证既贵又慢

是的 学校信封封好并盖章
UMich 记得附上那个cover sheet 或者在信封上注明UMID
