今年的FAST，真的没几篇能看的论文啊，我都怀疑他们投稿数有没有三位数

话说您觉得Stony Brook（导师是Erez Zadok）跟NEU/UMN比怎么样呢，Erez应该算是仅次于Remzi的牛人，然而比较纠结SBU相对较烂的排名会不会对以后找工作什么的带来影响…求建议

Zadok仅次于Remzi的结论你是怎么得出来的......比Zadok强的人还是很多的吧……不过他的势力确实比NEU/UMN的老师要大点，你要是有sbu那不如就去那好了。

NEU peter?

1. USNEWS is not accurate because it counts journals instead of conference. I think only CSRanking is good reference when picking grad school.
2. IEEE fellow actually doesn't matter a lot, it is just a honor. I think advisor's recent publicsiont is much more improtatnt
3. Regarding picking grad school, I think advisor > research group > univerisity

Actually the USNews national grad school ranking is even less reliable as it is solely based on survey...In a sense that methodology is just like how we rate movies on IMDb or douban...

You mean CSRanking? I think it pulls data from dplb

I mean the national wide computer science ranking issued by usnews. Their global ranking takes publication and citations into consideration, but not the national one. CSRankings definitely provides a much more objective view, though it has a few limitations.

不是学CS的但是在波士顿上了本科
生活费的话2300 一个月肯定是够了（基本衣食住行），应该一年下来还能有剩
Malden环境不是很好 但是有很多中国留学生住那里
1,200左右还是比较好找住宿的 只是估计要跟别人合租 不能住studio
