早起突然收到学校发来的SEVIS system alert

不知道是不是和申请STEM延期有关，早上突然收到了学校发来的邮件说出现了SEVIS system alert，找我要STEM extension的receipt。不知道会不会对申请的进程有影响。

Your information has come up on a SEVIS system alert. DO NOT CALL OIE – Follow the instructions listed below.

OIE needs to verify the following:

·         Did you send your OPT or STEM OPT application to USCIS?

o   “NO, I Did Not”:

§  Confirm that:

·         You have or will depart the US, or

·         That you happy applied for a change of status

o   “YES, I Did”:

§  Send OIE a copy of your OPT or STEM OPT Paper Receipt Notice and/or a copy of your new EAD card as soon as possible

This is very important – as your SEVIS record will become inactive (completed) which will create problems if you are still in the U.S. and plan to travel and/or apply for other benefits (e.g., STEM OPT extension, change of status, etc.).

只是猜测，是不是Opt过期且快到grace period末了？就按照他说的发一份receipt就行吧。
