Dear Colleagues
Please forward this message to any students seeking funded graduate research and/or teaching assistantships for Fall 2013.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at UMass Lowell has numerous (15-20) research and combined teaching/research assistant positions available for Ph.D. students, starting September 2013.  Each assistantship includes a tuition waiver and a graduate student stipend.  The research areas include: composites manufacturing and structural analysis, structural dynamics, acoustics, alternative energy (e.g. wind, solar), structural health monitoring, aerodynamics, computational mechanics, materials, controls, networked dynamic systems, robotics and autonomous systems.  Applicants are encouraged to apply no later than January 15, 2013.
