MSU CS网申吐槽

这个学校要两篇PS就不说啥了。都写完了竟然发现online application里面要纸推：Have your letters of recommendation sent directly to the chairperson of the department or school (major field) to which you are applying.。要纸推就不说啥了，可是CS官网上明明确确写着：Your letters of recommendation will be collected in the Engineering Supplemental Application (GIMS). Just fill out enough information here to allow you to submit this application.

在论文和百度搜索了一下，发现一部分一部分人说确实要纸推，另一部分人说可以网推。看到W大在一篇帖子里说：在gims里面有地方上传。研究生院的系统是层皮，唯一的作用是你交钱产生id，然后这个id被系统replicate到gims里面，这样你才可以提交gims。gims的推荐信系统非常恶心，如果老师一次性收不到信，可能会很麻烦。源地址：http://www.1point3acres.com/bbs/thread-17598-1-1.html

我今天提交了，晚上有一个老师提交了推荐信
这个是先在研院申请，拿到ID，在登录GIMS，重新提交CV,PS和推荐人信息

请问版主~
登录GIMS的ID要在研院提交完拿到，还是就是研院的ID？
如果推荐信是在GIMS网推，那只要寄成绩单过去了？

就用邮箱登陆 都是一样的
只有一个ID，是当时注册graduate school的时候就分配的
然后提交了graduate school就会发邮件确认，并且有GIMS的链接
登陆进去上传CV,PS,SOP,推荐人邮箱就可以了
我申的CS是寄成绩单，另外申PHD的话鼓励寄paper

再问一下版主，是不是一定要等到MSU的邮件过来之后才可以用自己的application ID登陆GIMS？现在用这个ID登不上去

我记得是提交了graduate school之后马上就发邮件，然后就能登陆了你要先提交

我已经提交了而且付费了，也受到MSU的邮件了，但是邮件里是这么说的：hank you for submitting an application to Michigan State University!

If you have submitted payment using a credit card, your application file is now
open. If you
prefer to pay by check or money order, please return to http://www.admissions.msu.edu/application/app.asp?AL=G and print a copy of the
application form using your applicant ID. Mail the form along with a check or money order in the amount of $50 (payable to Michigan State University) to your department. Please reference the mailing instructions found at
http://grad.msu.edu/departments/ which lists mailing addresses for each
department.
To complete your application file, supporting materials are required. Please refer
to the Graduate School Web site to see where materials should be sent for your specific college, department, or program. A list is available at http://grad.msu.edu/departments/
