Good to meet you. You are welcome to apply to UBC. You don't need to
find an advisor prior to submitting your application. You can list one
or more faculty members as potential advisors. This does not mean these
specific faculty are committing to working with you or that you will not
end up being accepted or working with someone else. As such you are
welcome to list me if you so wish, however, do underwent that this is
not a commitment for me to accept you or to supervise you. I am planning
to accept 2-3 students this cycle. The way I will choose these students
will be based on the overall ranking that we internally generate in the
department for all the applicants. The ranking is based on applicant's
holistic view which includes grades, exam scores, research experience,
recommendations, etc.本人2019fall申cs，这个是加拿大UBC的研究型硕士。
