Job description

We are actively seeking outstanding candidates to fill in Masterand Ph.D. positions. Graduate students will work on topics of cyber-physicalsystems and internet-of-things with focuses on security, data, power, and real-timeaspects. We highly welcome enthusiastic and motivated graduate students toapply.

Applicants from majors including computers science,computer engineering, electrical engineering relevant, are encouraged to apply.Preference will be given to students with strong implementation abilities and/ortheory-inclined background.

Dr. Fanxin Kong’s short bio

Dr. Kong is an assistant professor in the EECS at SyracuseUniversity. His research interests include security, sustainability, andreal-time aspects for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Internet-of-Things(IoT). His research techniques include optimization, algorithm design, dataanalysis, machine learning, control, and game theory. Dr. Kong has published over30 research papers at major highly-reputable venues, including ICCPS, RTSS,RTAS, IoTDI, Infocom, etc.. He has also authored 3 books.
