接了Dean的祝贺邮件，但催我一周做决定怎么办

接了AE的PhD，但是邮件里说2月15号之前就要通知他，之后会有正式的offer，问题是这时间也太早了，没法做决定啊，求各位大大帮忙看看这种要怎么回复。邮件全文如下：

AerE graduate committee reviewed your application for 2019 fall admission as a PhD student at Aerospace Engineering Dept. of Iowa State University. You are selected as one of the top candidates to receive admission with a fully funded TA/RA scholarship (i.e., ~$2,000/month stipend and a full coverage of your tuition and other associated costs by the scholarship). Congratulations!

Please let me know whether you are interested in conducting your PhD study at Aerospace Engineering Dept. of Iowa State University since 2019 fall semester as soon as possible (i.e., before 02/15/2019)!

If you decide to accept the offer, ISU admission office will send you a formal admission letter along with further detailed instructions on what to do in order to enroll as a PhD student at Iowa State University.

不明白为什么学校这么着急。
对楼主的专业不是很了解，但是我觉得既然LZ说没办法做决定，就肯定还是在等别的学校。个人觉得可以先和学校申请延长decision的时间，再看看他们怎么说。
感觉这个学校在侧面的回避4/15，4/15是你必须决定是否接受offer，现在这个学校并没有真的给你offer，所以4/15对他们来说也没什么约束力。

对。学这专业就怕签证被审核太久误了入学。

恭喜楼主！还等什么？接受吧

要是有其他的可以考虑其他的，AE以后办签证会让你痛苦死
