收到BU的一封信：
You are invited to Boston University School of Public Health's Doctoral Recruitment Day on XXX.  This event is a great way for prospective doctoral students to learn more about the Biostatistics PhD program and meet with faculty members, as well as current PhD students.  Space is limited.  Please RSVP by XXX.

这种信应该没用的吧？是不是只要申请了就会被邀请的？等消息等得烦死了等来这种东西……

This event is not an interview for the PhD program. It is a prospective student’s day. All students who applied or are thinking about applying in the future are invited to attend. It is just to learn more information about the program. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
