18. Hit the books—
I have an exam this Friday, so I'm gonna hit the books now.

19. Cut to the chase—
Since we don't have much time left in the meeting, I'll just cut to the chase: the sales are declining, and it's possible that we may need to lay off some people.

20. Lay off— 炒鱿鱼
例句：Well, I got laid off last week because I accidentally put confidential client data on my USB. Now I have to hunt for a new job.

21. Sit tight— calm down, wait patiently for something exciting
Bob: "Should I ask my boss whether I'll have a return offer?" Me: "No man it's way too early. Just sit tight and wait."

22. Up in the air—
Whether Bob will actually get a return offer from Microsoft is still up in the air.

How are you ? I'm fine thank you and you?

比如我说过， this is not the end of the world, all or nothing game.

smell the rose,放松一下，
I am going to the secret garden to smell the rose, are you coming?

Up in the air

3. have crush on someone.
