失业中,身份怎么办

如果您想要转B2身份，可以递交境内身份转换申请，审理时间大概需要3-6个月，且在审理期间不能出境。如果您顺利拿到offer，建议您尽快完成递交H-1B Change of Employer Petition。无论您选择递交以上任一申请，需要提醒您的是，请同时注意您的I-94有效日期，如果该日期早于60天 Grace Period, 您的申请递交期限和出境期限都将以该日期为准。

同时，申请包含具体细节较多，还是建议和专业的律师就具体情况咨询。

如果现在还没offer的话，可以考虑下找本地的consulting job了，大公司就是面试过了，手续办下来也要至少1个月才能入职，local consulting的可能快一些

可不可以先回国冷冻实业期，等拿到OFFER再回美国？面试尽量找REMOTE INTERVIEW的？不知道可行不？

If you would like to remain in the U.S. beyond the last date of employment, and your anticipated activities are consistent with Visitor status, it may be appropriate to file with U.S. Citizenship and  Immigration Services (USCIS) a request to change to another nonimmigrant status, such as B-1/B-2. Alternatively, after the last day of employment, an individual may depart from the U.S. and apply for re-entry to the U.S. for the purposes of vacation or to tie up personal affairs in Visitor status pursuant to a B-2 visa. Note that Visitor status does not permit work authorization.  
An application to change visa status to B-2 can be made using Form I-539 and can be filed directly with the USCIS.  Please note that this inquiry falls outside the scope of your employment with us and our team is not able to provide specific, individual assistance in applying for B-2 status. However, if you plan to file the I-539 application, additional information and instructions on the I-539 process can be found through the USCIS website below: http://www.uscis.gov/i-539
