有小伙伴成功找congressman加急过的吗? 能不能分享一下流程经验。比如怎么找到congressman，有什么需要的条件（是否需要先提交USCIS的加急），需要提供的信息和大致的流程。谢谢了！祝大家都早日拿到卡！

我直接到当地congressman的办公室。一个专门处理opt的工作人员接待了我，建议我向公司要support letter之后再找他加急，否则成功率是0。
你可以搜索一下当地congressman的地址，在工作日期间直接上门。


support letter的要求如下：

To Whom It May Concern:

USCIS will consider expediting a pending employment authorization for Optional Practical Training if the prospective employer is able to make a strong claim that the delay to the application will result in financial loss to the company. In the past, successful letters review the cost of finding, hiring and training a temporary replacement, as well as noting what contributions the individual has made that would not be cheaply or quickly transferred to a different employee . The more specific you can be -- in terms of dollar amounts, staff time, etc. -- the more likely the request will be successful. You could also include what you have invested in the individual's prospective employment through legal paperwork, talent search, etc.

As for as the format -- you can address it to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and then state you are asking for her assistance requesting expedited processing of the application on the grounds of financial loss before diving into the evidence of financial loss.

顶顶顶 非常详细。以公司为名义的话，公司letter要详细不要泛泛而谈，不建议说personal financial loss。
