早上收到了密苏里的AD

We are pleased to accept you as a student in our new applied track master’s degree in statistics
for Fall 2013. Please reply to this email by March 31, 2013 and let us know if you accept our
admission offer. We wish to know your decision as soon as possible as there is a waitlist for
admission into our program. Informing us of your decision will allow us to contact alternates in a
timely manner. Once you notify us of your decision and pending final review of your academic
credentials by the Graduate School, you will be officially admitted to the Graduate School.
The new applied track has been created in response to increasing demand for graduate study in
our department. This program requires only  30 credit hours of graduate course work (or
equivalently 10 three-credit classes). In addition, there is no research project or thesis required.
The program can be easily completed in four semesters.  Well-qualified applicants will be able to
finish the degree in three semesters.
Unfortunately, due to the department’s limited resources for supporting international students,
we are unable to offer you financial assistance. If you decide to enroll in our program, you must
plan on paying the full cost of study here. The estimated cost for the 2013-2014 academic year
has yet to be determined by the graduate school. The estimate from the graduate school for this
cost was $32,074 per year for the 2012-2013 academic year. This was the amount you must have
guaranteed to get a visa last year.  However, our students claim that this estimate was too high.
Our students report that they spend about $700 per month on room and meals (sharing a two
bedroom apartment with another student and cooking for themselves). So the typical student
spends quite a bit less than what is estimated.   
Please do not view our inability to offer you  financial assistance as a reflection on your
qualifications. We had an extraordinary pool of international applicants this year, but we have
limited means for supporting such students.

cong个 好意外呀 我以为密苏里是冷门呢没想打地里有这么多人报OFFER。。。我顿时不感觉孤单了。
就业情况我也不知道。。。只是他家科研很不错其实。。。

听说应用统计是他家强项，博士项目也很好。。。不是水项目。。。

太具体我也不知道，我也是才收到他家ad。。地点离圣路易斯比较近，工作机会应该不会太差吧（个人揣测）。。

觉得missouri科研比他家好，性价比也高于GWU。。工作机会不清楚，估计GWU好些吧。。。去哪家觉得还是看以后走什么路线。。。

嗯嗯，我还是想找个就业机会多的，不过密苏里性价比确实不错的~~

觉得如果直接想毕业找工作就去GWU，就是贵了点记得1500刀一学分。。。
