HKUST Face-to-Face Interview

去年十二月被HKUST committee面试，面试最后说你没啥问题了，两个星期内给录取，希望明年能在港科见到你~
本以为录取了~坐等Offer+3月HK Fellowship的结果~
结果结果，一直Official的Offer一直没来~今天突然告诉我：

Dear Applicant,

On behalf of the postgraduate admission committee of ECE Department at HKUST, I would like to inform you that you have been short-listed from a large number of applicants to our PG program at ECE/HKUST.  To facilitate a further evaluation, we propose to have a face-to-face interview in Shenzhen on April 6, 2013 (Saturday afternoon) or April 7, 2013 (Sunday morning).




To facilitate our arrangement, please send us a reply email to confirm your coming to interview and your interview date preference (6 April or 7 April) before 1 April ,2013  (Monday).  A detailed interview schedule will be provided after you have confirmed your acceptance with us.  If we do not receive your reply email, we would assume that you would not come to the interview.




The interview will be conducted by a panel of two faculty members from the ECE Department in English.  Each interview will take about 25 minutes.  Since you are applying to graduate school, we are most interested in getting an understanding about your research interests and your research experience.  For current undergraduate students, you can talk about your graduation thesis project.




We are sorry that there will be no subsistence allowance on the travel expenses.

你已经有那么多牛offer了。觉得HKUST你可以不用去了

好像只有HKU的给报600 HKD

额~我面的时候上来就问你认为自己的亮点是啥~然后就对各个Paper的细节进行提问~最后是吹水，说HKUST多么多么NB，你来了以后会多么多么NB~最后是叫我问点问题吧~就问了毕业去向~IC的Industry比较多，MEMS的Research比较多~哈哈~希望能帮到你哈~

额~已经拒绝去深圳面试了。。。。要是给报销的话可以去HK玩玩，不给钱还是不去了。。。。

600 HKD~飞机票都不够吧~还有各种花销~学校也太抠门了。。。。。看看人家美帝的Campus Visit，Open House啥的~给钱爽快多了~
