EECS 目前審查狀況

發了封信問了graduate studies的Prof. Bruce，關於EECS目前的審查狀況，因為等好久都沒下文（要殺要剮就。。。。。）
他表示，今年EECS有超過720個PhD申請者，有些offer已經發出，並且大概200位申請者已經悲劇了。。。


** Prof. Bruce人很好，很耐心回應申請者的問題。

不知道什么时候能出消息啊。。  等不了了。。

有关于MS的消息么

For MS applicants the review process is underway and will continue through March and into July. We have over 750 PhD applications and over 850 MS applications to review. Because of the size and diversity of the EECS department, admissions are managed by the research divisions rather than a central committee, so applicants in different areas will be hearing at different times.

Your application has been forwarded to the committee for review. Decisions have yet to be rendered on nearly all applications submitted thus far, so you still have some time to wait before hearing back, so please be patient.

Since you are an MS applicant you will not be receiving funding with an admissions decision therefore Northwestern has no set date to meet in regards to making a decision on your application. Hope this answers your question.

有誰已經收到NWU EECS的AD嗎？

嗯，是的。。
Bruce老师还说，目前的进度来说EECS已经发出“about half of the offers of admission”

那就是说.....
像我这种“ An admissions decision has not yet been rendered.”

是不是基本已经跪了
