有的牛教授是三项都兼顾的很好。美国的大学多数是research oriented，所以科研是考察教授工作能力的第一衡量标准。

当然，在这个基础之上把行政工作以及教学工作做的不错也是锦上添花（比如，混个department chair or graduate student director之类的，以或者拿teaching awards etc）

教授工资一开始也是这个range吧？。。。只是后面会涨。。。

这位一看就是大U的。

在LAC，教学/学生评价是永远的第一位。Department Chair教课比一般老师少。。。到了coordinator的地步，那完全就不能再有教学任务了。。。

拿了这个工作，基本就没时间搞科研了吧。。。好纠结，好不容易看到了一个本专业靠谱点的工作。。

这个职位就是招来专门负责本科招生的，不算是讲师，比讲师高级，比终身教授不如。

很多系这种职位是tenured professor兼任，但是有些学校的有些系本科的招生就是这么安排专人负责的，你贴的这个职位算是此类里比较高级的，要求phd，要讲入门课，还要负责本科的各种proposal，所以要求phd

拿了这个工作，基本就没时间搞科研了吧。。。好纠结，好不容易看到了一个本专业靠谱点的工作。。

对，这个职位侧重service，兼顾点基本的teaching，不做research
