PhD Scholarship in Tennessee Tech University - Next Generation Networks

Position Overview:
PhD scholarship in the Computer Science Department at Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, TN, USA, is open for hiring immediately in the area of networks with special focus on next generation networks. The candidate should have a background in some of the following topics: network resource management, optimization techniques (NLP, MINLP, Convex Programming, Semi-definite Programming, etc.), stochastic modeling (Markov chains, Graph Probabilistic Models, etc.), and machine learning (deep feed-forward neural networks, deep recurrent neural networks “LSTM and
GRU", deep convolutional neural networks). The PhD student will be supervised by Dr. Muhammad Ismail (Assistant Professor at Department of Computer Science, Tennessee Tech University).
