[DM/ML/NLP/CV]2020远程科研实习/2021博士@PSU

Multiple remote research internship positions (Summer and Fall 2020) are available in the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) at Penn State University under the supervision of Dr. Fenglong Ma. Dr. Fenglong Ma had published ~50 papers in top-tier venues, including KDD (10 papers + 1 tutorial), WWW, ACL, IJCAI, AAAI, ICDM, CIKM, WSDM, SDM, TKDE. The students will work on the following Research Topics:
(1) Healthcare data mining with machine learning techniques;
(2) Multi-modality learning (DM/ML+NLP+CV);
(3) Data security;
(4) Interpretable machine learning.

Requirements:
(1) Undergraduate or MS students in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, or related majors.
(2) Strong programming and/or mathematical skills.
(3) Familiar with deep learning platforms: PyTorch/TensorFlow/Keras.
(4) At least three months' internship.

请问如果是已经工作的大厂sde （方向是Search/IR 的infra）， 想利用业余时间（每周30小时左右）做 volunteer research 这种可以申请吗。

想请问下楼主，这个对语言有什么要求么，或者workload怎么样呢

需要熟练使用python，会指定一个research topic，每周一对一开会，做research完全靠自觉，不规定workload。
