Interesting background information!

This is actually an excellent joke because:
1) The pun on Haydn’s name
2) Haydn was indeed Beethoven’s teacher
3) While Beethoven studied under Haydn in Vienna in the 1790s, Haydn was often busy with his own commissions and trips abroad, leaving Beethoven by himself. Beethoven once said he didn’t learn anything from Haydn, so the “couldn’t find” part has some historical truth to it
