MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) has devoted one of its research projects to providing disinfection services to the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) to mitigate the outbreak. The robot system designed by CSAIL, which was created in collaboration with Ava Robotics, will not only sterilize surfaces that may touch a Novel Coronavirus, but also remove aerosolized forms that may exist in the air, the lab said. And researchers at MIT CSAIL envision using a similar system to cover a complex set of Spaces that require frequent disinfection, including grocery stores, dorms, schools and airplanes.  source
