疫情中纽约市数据分析顾问公司实习
. From 1point 3acres bbs

Waral dи,

Data Optimization Project Project Overview
As we continue to grow as a company, Yurgosky is trying to scale our various databases
(Mavenlink & Salesforce) so we can have real time visibility with our reporting. This is
imperative if we are going to grow and make sound decisions as an organization: ..
1. We need to be able to wrangle data from Mavenlink and Salesforce
a. All active and archived projects and change requests
b. All tasks (active / archived tasks). Waral dи,
c. Timesheets (all time)
2. Auditing Data Issues
a. We would need to be able to find any missing or incorrect touch points in the data
b. Administrative mistakes / missed information from the project leads and
managers (unassigned tasks, tasks that don’t have end dates, etc.) that need
to be filled out so that we can capture data / have accurate reporting
3. Reporting on data in the system
a. All current director, project lead, and manager reports ..
b. Make it real time
c. Have good security settings for the reports
d. Forecasting that takes into account various possibilities (opportunities and
risks)
Project Goals & Objectives
Goals for this project include:
1. Wrangle realtime, accurate data into a database that is secure
2. Use this data to create reports where we can see missing touchpoints in our
databases (Mavenlink, Salesforce)
3. Use the data to create reports that drive business decisions and provide insight for
the organization
Technical Parameters. Χ
Mavenlink operates in a JSON or Rails environment Mavenlink API Documentation and we
have our pipeline data in Salesforce
Wrangle Data Objectives - 1 st Month. .и
. 1point 3acres
Trying to wrangle all the databases (In MavenLink: Tasks, Projects, and Timesheet Data - In
Salesforce: Our Sales Pipeline). We are still looking at different data storage options
(MongoDB, Firebase, AWS Cloud, and Heroku) and Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI,
Google Charts, Tableau, Looker, Qlik) based on security, pricing, and utilization. We are open
to suggestions / alternativative research.
For the wrangling, we need to do the following:
1. Make sure we are capturing all potential data
a. Active
b. Archived
2. Make sure we have a streaming connection to our dashboards and database
a. This needs to be updated frequently (once an hour would be ideal).--
3. Have a way to manipulate data in realtime
a. There might not be data in the system, so we need to add additional fields
i. The week the data falls on
ii. Breaking apart data (tasks that have multiple people assigned)
iii. Differentiating Client versus the SOW related to the corresponding
project
iv. Existing vs new clients
v. Change Requests and how they change a project. 1point3acres
. 1point3acres.com
4. Have a way to capture data in different ways
a. Same data, but captured in various formats
5. Be able to customize certain fields that can’t be changed in Mavenlink or Salesforce-baidu 1point3acres
a. Skew Forecasting in Mavenlink
b. Time Stamps for submitted timesheets
Auditing Reports - 2. Waral dи,
nd Month (shared with #6 on the list)
We need to be able to see if there are any gaps in all of our data sets and make sure that
contract information matches the data in Mavenlink: and Salesforce
1. Make sure that all tasks have important information
a. Start & End dates
b. Scheduled Time
c. Making sure everything is assigned
2. Projects have appropriate tags / rates
3. Security settings to make sure no can see data that they shouldn’t
4. Resources are assigned the right roles / departments. 1point 3 acres
5. Dashboards
6. Salesforce pipeline data needs to have all the various touch points in place-baidu 1point3acres
a. Making sure no start date is past due
b. All relevant fields that need to have data (i.e. every project has hours for every
role)
Forecasting & Health Reporting - 2
nd Month (shared with #5 on this list)
We need to be able to recreate current reporting and enhance reporting from both
Mavenlink and Salesforce
1. Try to replicate our dashboards and reporting from Mavenlink and Salesforce
2. Provide enhanced filtering so people can easily change what they are looking for
3. Security field settings
. . .и
a. Directors
b. By department / roles
4. Try to implement reporting that showcases potential outcomes (if certain pipeline
projects are complete)
5. Create new reporting that captures timestamps
a. Timesheet submissions
b. Project statuses and schedules
