特斯拉正在起诉电动汽车初创公司Rivian

In the past week, Tesla discovered that its departing employees were stealing Tesla’s trade secrets, confidential and proprietary information for the electric car startup Rivian (this information is particularly useful for start-up electric car companies). Tesla also stated that Rivian is well aware of Tesla employees’ confidentiality obligations, but still “encourages” these thefts. Rivian has approximately 2,300 employees, and Tesla claims that 178 of them are former Tesla employees. The lawsuit also named four former Tesla employees Tami Pascale, Kim Wong, Jessica Siron and Carrington Bradley for allegedly stealing confidential information. However, a spokesperson for Rivian said: The allegations in this lawsuit are groundless and run counter to Rivian’s culture, ethics and corporate policies. All employees who join Rivian will be confirmed that they have not, and will not introduce the former employer’s intellectual property rights to the Rivian system.

This is not the first time Tesla has sued a former employee for allegedly stealing information. Tesla last year accused the self-driving car startup Zoox and several former employees of allegedly stealing company information. Zoox reached a settlement with Tesla in April, agreeing to pay an undisclosed amount and accept an audit.  source
