Due to the continuous surge in confirmed cases of the coronavirus in some parts of the U.S., McDonald's suspension of measures to reopen US restaurants will continue for another 30 days. The company will also require customers to wear masks from August 1st, and will install protective panels in restaurants to allow franchisees to increase the number of orders and staffing. Employees will receive additional training to deal with customers who do not want to wear masks, and masks will be provided to these customers.
