法国酿酒商将滞销葡萄酒转制为消毒凝胶

在Covid-19疫情爆发后，酒吧和餐馆的关闭对葡萄酒业造成了打击。加上特朗普政府在与欧洲的贸易战中对法国葡萄酒征收25％的税，导致对美国的出口减少了一半，法国葡萄酒市场崩溃了。法国政府机构FranceAgriMer说，他们已经授权33个酿酒厂收集200万公升未售出的葡萄酒，将其转制为工业酒精或消毒用凝胶，以便为葡萄酒生产腾出空间，用于今年的生产。

Winemakers have been hit by the closure of bars and restaurants in France and abroad. Exports to the US, which halved after the Trump administration introduced punitive 25% tariffs last October, fell further after the Covid-19 outbreak. FranceAgriMer said 33 distilleries had been authorised to collect 2m hectolitres of unsold wine to transform it into ethanol or hydro-alcoholic gel in order to free up room in vintners’ caves for this year’s production.  source
