福特计划裁减至少1400个工作岗位，并让部分员工进行买断工龄

福特汽车周三告诉员工，计划削减白领员工队伍，将裁减至少1400个工作岗位，并对部分受薪员工进行买断工龄。接受买断的人将在年底前离开公司，而不接受买断的人可能会面临潜在的裁员，员工可以在10月23日之前接受买断计划。而公司发言人表示：福特一直在提高公司的全球适应性和有效性，其中包括重新确定产品和服务的优先级，并为此相应的配备人员，人员的调整也是其中的一部分。

而截至2019年底，福特在全球范围内的员工人数为19万人，比上一年减少了9000人，当时在全球范围内减少了7000个职位。该公司在美国约有3.6万名受薪员工。而这次裁员之际，这些汽车制造商正在努力从新冠疫情的影响中“挣扎”出来。公司也表示，不仅要经受住危机的考验，也要努力从危机中脱颖而出，准备好建立一个更好的未来。
