The criteria and procedure for such cases is the same worldwide; the Embassy does not have the discretion to exempt individual applicants.

The vast majority of applicants whose cases are submitted for additional processing receive visas within four to five weeks. But it may vary from individual to individual. We understand this timeline does not meet your requirements, but unfortunately the speed of this worldwide process is beyond the control of the Embassy. We will notify you as soon as processing is complete and we can conclude your case.
